Well the actual percentage ethanol by weight for my sample ended up begin 68% and the density was still .87 g/mL. I had to use a separate table to obtain that value as the table given didn't have any higher than .85g/mL. As for the initial solution, after conferring with others in my lab, 25mL of the solution was initially distilled.
