Debye-Hückel Theory

 :o

Can anyone please help me.  I am trying to use Debye-Hückel Conductivity theory to calculate the conductivity of different ions, however the I do not know what the value for r is.  In the theory it says that r is the distance from the central ion.  What is the distance of the central ion, how do i calculate this value?  Anyone who can help would be great.

the equation is ?(r)=(z.e/4.pi.?)*(exp(?/ß)/1+(?/ß))+(exp(-r/ß)/r)

Many Thanks ??? ??? ??? ;D
