Well, it looks as if they are grants for a specific purpose such as travel to conferences or for collaboration with overseas researchers - not, as such, a "prize" in recognition of your brilliant work. I don't know how hard it is to get one, but I would expect there are more applicants than grants available, so there would be some element of competition, and they would select you partly on the basis of how they judge the quality and importance of your work. So there would be some cachet to getting one - but don't expect to be feted as if you'd won a Nobel Prize!
