Friedel Craft Reaction with epichlorohydrin

Can epichlrohydrin be used in Friedel Craft aromatic alkylation reactions of the type:

Ar + Cl-CH2-CH(O)CH2 -->  Ar-CH2-CH(O)CH2  ?

Do you have any suggested reaction conditions or reference paper?
