So why  the bond energy of H2 is higher than that of F2 ..? ??
Even there is a lots of difference....
H2 - 436 kJ/mol
F2 -  158 kJ/mol

Lone pair repulsion drives nuclei farther apart (bond length of F2 is about 1.41 Å, for H2 it's about 0.74 Å), overlap is poor.

you totally mix up bond energies and absolute energies.

I just got it dude..
Listen what i've learned ( if i am wrong then please correct me)

Bond energy depend upon the energy difference between Atomic orbital and molecular orbital, it does not depend upon absolute energy of an orbital.
