BSc ChemE + BSc Chem or BSc ChemE only?
« on: October 13, 2014, 03:10:46 AM »
Hi. I am currently a senior majoring in chemistry. I only need to complete 6 more classes to obtain my BSc degree in chemistry. I  decided to pursue a degree in chemical engineering.

Do you guys think it would be worth the time (extra semester) and money ($~7000 more) to complete my degree in chemistry?

I attached my plan below. Please note that it is tentative. I am scheduled to meet with my advisor this Wednesday.

Thank you for your time and input.

EDIT: I recalculated. The extra degree will most likely cost ~$10,000 more.

I think the extra semester is worth it. $7000 I don't know.
