Spore Filtration
« on: November 14, 2014, 03:16:00 PM »
I am working on filtering biological spores that are suspended in DMSO and need to know if adding a surfactant like Tween 80 will help to coagulate the spores.  The spores are Bacillus Firmus.

Also, is adding a buffer helpful in how well the spores filter.  Right now I am getting a slime that forms on the filter paper.
