I got this question wrong on an exam and can't seem to find the answer to it anywhere.  Thank you if someone can give some insight on it.

I am sorry, I didn't know the rules.  the answer had to do something with the molecular diagram and I thought it behaved as a base on its homo and as an acid on its lumo and if you look at the molecular orbital diagram this is all it shows and the answer was wrong.  I was maybe thinking it would act as a base through the carbon by letting electrons go from there because of a stonger pull from the oxygen and like wise act as an acid through oxygen by taking in more electrons from there.
