hi everyone.
i am doin a research paper for school

i've read this from internet:

Si=Si bond are weaker than C=C bond because

1 Si is top of group 14,  S and P orbitals are closer.
2. Si-si bond is not kintic stable.)but C=C bond is.

Anyone know why is Si's S and P orbital are closer and if they are closer...how does this make the si=si bond weak?
....wht does kintic stable means here??
