Hi Everyone
There is problem created by lecturer about existance of Cl
+
ion in some special condition.
Chlorine belong to halogen family which are highly electronegative in nature and can exist in chloride anion. Is it possible for existance of chloride cation ? If yes in which case does it happen ?

In chemical way molecules like ClF and ClF
3
have some polarisation, but not really a cation. But a cation I think is only possible in a high electical field or plasma conditions, also from physical nature.
