Zhabotinsky - Belousov oscillation
« on: April 05, 2006, 03:22:46 PM »
while doing some research, I found out that the experiment was originally done with citric acid instead of malonic...
so i'm interested if anyone has the recipe for either Zhabotinsky - Belousov or Briggs - Rauscher oscillation using citric acid instead of malonic...

uhm...
I was unable to find malonic acid...
and I tried to get some ethyl-acetoacetate for an experiment (it was something with enole too), but didn't manage to find anyone who has it...

so... more ideas? something with citric acid, if possible :)
