« on: April 06, 2006, 03:40:16 PM »
Tomorrow in class i have to present a decomposition experiment. I cant find anything on this? I just need a simple experiment that i can do in front of the class that shows decomposition.

Put some CuSO4 solution into test glass, add some hydroxide - blue precipitate forms. Heat the test tube, precipitate gets black - that's thermal decomposition of copper hydroxide. Simple and safe.
