Need help with an unkown chemical
« on: February 17, 2015, 05:27:29 PM »
I was working at a company called britannia row productions, and my job was to refurbish stage equipment, namely equipment sleeves.

We used an adhesive to coat the sleeves which would be sanded down. At the time i researched it and i knew it was a carcinogenic, but have since forgotten exactly what it was.

It was a pink putty that was applied to wooden and metal objects and then sanded down to get the desired effect.

I know this may sound strange but I really want to know exactly what it was.

It was highly volitile and pungent in smell.

Thanks.
