ion Ag+ activity
« on: March 18, 2015, 04:53:40 PM »
Hello

I have got some problems with this excercise.

To the beaker added: 50 cm^3 solution 2 moles NaOH and 5cm^3 0.1M AgNO3.
Calculate activity of the Ag+ ion

We have reaction
 2AgNO3 + 2NaOH -> Ag2O↓ + H2O + 2NaNO3

But what next?
Thanks for help

Strange question.

Does it really ask for activity in solution with ionic strength close to 2?
