OK, I have come back morning and it asked me to log on (even if I was logged forever). I did - and now it states I am logged for 7 hours and 18 minutes.

Perhaps the reason has something to do with the fact, that my entry page is set as http://www.chemicalforums.com/index.php?action=recent

And Mitch - what about this fonts and css issue?

I don't really like the way the subforums are nestled/stacked, and I reckon personally, that the calendar is pointless, as nearly anyone will have on on their PC, one thing I DO like though, is the ability to view recent karma actions, why not add a space to add a reason for whatever actiom? just a thought, as in the past, I have lost/gained karma when I haven't posted in a while, and it drives me bonkers trying to figure out what I did good (or how I was a naughty scientist :D)

I like small text, sorry. ;)

I realised that. :P
However, if I change it with my text-preferences of Opera/FF/IE, all other pages change as well. Addionally, the picture get out of scale (at least in Opera, which I use most). I guess that's something I have to live with.

Mitch, I need your billing address for my next glasses ;D

I think in Opera you can force larger print for individual sites using embedded style sheets, but I am not sure. If I will not forget I will ask Junior once he gets back from Uni.

So, css is taken care of?
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

For me it is OK now, finally everything is easily readable (even if small) :)

What about the dimension of avatars? Mine is ugly too, even if replaced it with a square one.

Sorry, maybe I didn't explain my problem clearly enough because of my weak English.  :-[

The problem I encounter is that I cannot entirely see my avatar in the posts: there are always scrolling bars and only a small part of the picture is displayed. In a nuthshell, it seems that all the avaters are too large for the new foum layout...

Do you think it's a problem with my computer? (I use IE).

Yeah, it looks like its slightly to big. I think the forum does it in order that it doesn't mess with its formatting. I looked at trying to enlarge it, but I think I've enlarged it as much as I can without it taking its own action to keep the current scale with the user's current screen resolution.
