This is the question I've been stuck on followed by my attempt which I think works but am unsure if the -OH group would react in the listed reactions. Any insight to whether this method works or if there is a better sequence of reactions would be great, thank you!!!

Question: Outline a synthesis of the following aldehyde starting with benzene, ethene, and acetylene as only carbon sources and any needed inorganic reagents.
