hydrophobic interaction chromatography
(1/1)
Memy:
hey
i have just a doubt...when we are talking of hydrophobic interaction chromatography and reverse phase liquid chromatography, are we talking of the same chromatographic technique?
thank you
Albert:
No, they are different. You CAN carry out a HPLC HIC, in order to increase resolution.
HIC gives you the opportunity to use aqueous elution conditions and has a higher capacity.
However, on the other hand, it gives moderate resolution.
