ACS and WIKI
« on: July 18, 2015, 07:53:16 AM »
I have seen where it is said that ACS (American Chemical Society acs.org) is monitoring WIKI(i.g. wikipedia.org).
I did a very cursory GOOGLE and could not find any confirmation and the ACS site was down for maintenance.

Does anyone have a link that confirms the monitoring and maybe how effective is the monitoring.

Also If you are not a member of ACS or WIKI, is there a way to report a WIKI item to ACS for a monitor action?

Well, I finally got on the ACS site and still do not have any official announcement.
Maybe my powers of searching are diminishing.
You would think they would have a committee that monitored progress in monitoring WIKI.

Anyone else have a more definitive find on an official announcement?
