Organic chemistry experiment

I would be thankful if someone could give me some experiment that is connected to organic chemistry and that could be done at home, without any additional chemicals that can't be found in an ordinary store. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular, just something that could be done at home and with items that I could buy in a general store.

What about making soap? Not incredibly exciting, but it's easy to get the materials

Dye
Ethanol
to the list.

But, there are lots of choices if you GOOGLE
