Hi everyone,

some one could explain what is σ and n0 in this formula :  x(t)  =  xf . σ(t) / σ  =   σ(t).n0 ??

Can you give some context? For a start, what are x(t), xf and σ(t)?

x(t) is the extent of a reaction .

and σ(t) is the conductivity of the solution .

and xf is the extend of the reaction at the end also called sometimes xmax .

Looks like σ is the conductivity at t :rarrow: ∞. Your equation implies xf = n0, but as xf is a number between 0 and 1, and I doubt if n0 is, you may want to check that.
