What exactly happens when tuning a MS
« on: December 04, 2015, 02:59:20 PM »
I have been looking for what exactly happens, what parts are turning on and moving and how does it know what to adjust, but I haven't  been able to find an answer so I am hoping someone here can help me.  All I've been able to find is the information that is given during an Autotune not how it obtained that information.

Thanks so much.

Here's a useful article:  http://www.sepscience.com/Techniques/LC/Articles/695-/HPLC-Solutions-5-LCMS-Calibration-vs-Tuning  What are you actually doing, calibration or tuning, and why are you doing it?
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
