Are there any isomers of 1,2 - dichloroethane?

I've done my research and concluded there aren't because of the rotation around the single bond, it still remains the same so it's not an isomer however with dichloroethene there are isomers. However whenever I put down on my coursework there are no isomers of 1,2-dichloroethane my tutor says it's wrong. Can I get a bit of help please I'm stuck.

You need to research the distinction between structural and stereo isomers.
