equilibrium - radioactive carbon
« on: May 10, 2006, 10:17:48 AM »
A system that is at equilibrium still produces reactant and product molecules. This principle needs to be tested for the following system:
  Fe3+(aq) + CNS-(aq) <--> Fe(CNS)2+(aq)

The 14C in 14CNS- is radioactive. How can this be used to test whether "A system that is at equilibrium still produces reactant and product molecules".
