Silver in Lead-acid Batteries ??

Yesterday I've received a message from my friend , He asked me During the recycling of Lead-Acid battery do we get silver ?? If we get silver then what is the method for extracting it ??

This sounds silly to me . I've read Lead-Acid batteries in High School but I've never read about Silver is present in them . I've already searched on Wikipedia page of lead-acid battery , there is no "Silver" present , even i have a RSC's book , "Understanding Batteries" I didn't get there too . 

So Now I am thinking that there is no silver in Lead-Acid Batteries . Am I going on right way ??

I didn't checked well , Now I got something . There is so called Silver Calcium battery . They are used now days . I've got some products name Exide and Amaron Batteries ,They use silver to provide better resistance for Heat corrosion . Increase their Durability .

So finally I got answer to the first question . But How to extract it during the recycling process ??  We have a Lead-Calcium-Silver Alloy ..!! Now this question belongs to Metallurgy Which I've never took seriously .  ;D

Dissolve the electrodes, look for a reducing agent that will reduce Ag+ only (or deposit Ag electrochemically).

Note amount of silver (which I found listed as up to 0.015% here: http://www.google.ch/patents/US20050112470) is so low process won't be economically viable.

I am not even sure your friend think about lead-silver or lead-silver-calcium batteries.
