why aspirin isn't very soluble in water ?

3g/L is not so bad solubility. Moreover, the solubility in water is not so important property for good bioavailability, which is needed for drug action.

Look for the structure of aspirin and identify all the groups/parts of it first.
Year 1 science student in HKUST and a Chemistry geek.
