We used to have a karma box where it would say who took who's snack.  But it's not here anymore.

The important thing to remember is, that snacks don't really matter in the long run.  Even in Member Stats, there's no "Top Scooby Snack Earners"...which shows how little value they have :P

If you really want snacks THAT bad, find some friends on the forum (like the AP chem club) and just give each other snacks all the time.  You can give one every 24 hours.

Not sure, If you help people with their chemistry problems and are polite and make good posts, your snacks will increase.

If you do the opposite or post spam or too many off topic posts your snacks will decrease. From what I can see most of your posts are in the general forum.

This is an answer to your question. This is not the beginning of a discussion...

The scooby snacks are part of a peer review mechanism among forum members.

It is fine having 0 or more scooby snacks or less scooby snacks.

The main thing about scooby snacks is if you have a large negative count, there must be something wrong about you, or someone is just out to sabotage your online reputation at the forum.
"Say you're in a [chemical] plant and there's a snake on the floor. What are you going to do? Call a consultant? Get a meeting together to talk about which color is the snake? Employees should do one thing: walk over there and you step on the friggin snake." - Jean-Pierre Garnier, CEO of Glaxosmithkline, June 2006
