Fun with Thermodynamics
« on: April 25, 2016, 06:12:19 PM »
A reaction occurred between 50 mL 1M HCl and 75 mL of 1M NaOH. The heat released is 2.1 kilojoules. If the initial temp is 25 deg. C, what is the final T?

This is a problem on a practice exam and I am quite lost on where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hint: some of the information is there just to make you confused if you are not able to filter out what is important.
