Medicinal chemistry education

Hello everybody!

Just wanted to ask if there are any medicinal chemistry students here at the forum. I'm particularly interested in PhD medicinal chemistry programs in the USA.
I'm getting my B.Sc. in chemistry and starting my orgchem M.Sc. program next year. The problem is that you can't get medchem education here (in Russia). We don't have such an academic program here. The thing I am learning here is the synthesis, which I don't like very much to tell the truth. So, I'd like to ask if there any med chem PhD programs and what do the students deal exactly with: computer aided drug design, structure-activity relationship researches, the synthesis itself or maybe smth else, I'don't know.... And what is the common undergraduate background you need to have in order to be accepted to the program: org chem, pharmacy, med.chem (if there is any) or smth else. Which one is the most common and preferred?

I'll be very grateful for any info you can give to me.

P.S. Very sorry for my poor English
