Look at wikipedia.
Boron nitride exists in multiple form. Graphitic boron nitride has sp
2
hybridization.

When generally asked the question about what hybridisation it has would sp2 be right? As I saw this question on a past paper for a first year chemistry student.

There are two forms with sp
2
(lubricant) and sp
3
(abrasive - harder than diamond). I think that correct answer is using both hybridizations together.
