Does boron nitride have a hybridisation of sp2?

Look at wikipedia.
Boron nitride exists in multiple form. Graphitic boron nitride has sp2 hybridization.

When generally asked the question about what hybridisation it has would sp2 be right? As I saw this question on a past paper for a first year chemistry student.

There are two forms with sp2 (lubricant) and sp3 (abrasive - harder than diamond). I think that correct answer is using both hybridizations together.
