According to me among the 4 compounds , all the compounds will not form stable hydrate .

But the answer is that only compound (d) will not form stable hydrate.

What is the difference between the compounds and what is a "requirement" for a carbonyl to form a stable hydrate?
Development Chemists do it on Scale, Research Chemists just do it!
