I have reacted one of my substrate having Boc with PBr3 and ended up in the cleavage. Is Boc labile in PBr3? In that case can you recommend me the suitable protecting agent for this.
Thankx in anticipation.

Can you give information about the substrate or the transformation you are trying to achieve? Is it possible that you are generating HBr in-situ, that would make the Boc drop off?
