Stoichiomety Question: zinc with nitric acid
« on: May 22, 2006, 01:50:35 PM »
A volume of 7.5L of hydrogen gas was produced at STP from the singe replacement reaction of zin with nitric acid calculate the volume of 2.3M of nitric acid needed for a complete reaction. (291mL)

Am I going to go from volume to volume or moles to volume to solve this?

Thanks

Start with the reaction equation.

I know that but what would you do afterward?

Moles of hydrogen to moles of acid.
