Which product would be obtained by the dehydration of

2-heptanol
2-methyl-1-cyclohexanol..

In these types of dehydration reactions, the reaction will favor the formation of double bonds which:

1) have more substituents
2) are trans rather than cis
3) are internal rather than terminal

Using these three criteria, you should be able to figure out what the products will be.  Post your answers when you're done and we'll check them.
