What would be a good method for both presumptive ID and quantitation of tear gas extracts:
A.Bi-Metallic sensors
B. gas chrom.
C. Fourier transform infrared spect.
D. Raman Spect.
E.Ultraviolet-visible spect.

I've eliminated A because that method is uses temperatures, my guess is C but I'm not 100% positive.

Your exclusion of the first is well thought out and explained.  I don't know if its correct, but you get points for what you do, not just what you read once.  Now, what about the others?  How do they work?  For example, how does each instrument "hold" a sample, and will that work on your target sample.  "Tear gas extracts" -- what exactly does that mean?
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
