Preparing the Olympiad
(1/1)
SHEZZA:
Hi all! I am new here. I am a year 11 student and I'm preparing the Olympiad this year. I have read some text books such as Chemical Priciples and did a lot of the questions from text books as well as the Olympiad past papers, but the text books are not helping me a lot with the Olympiad quetsions, especially with the analysis chemistry questions. I have also tried out some of the questions from the weekly questions in the archive, but I am struggling with most of the questions. What can I do to improve my current situation?
Thank you!

Other than doing more problems and reading more books? Not much.
However, when you try to solve problems and you hit a wall, you can always show us what you did so far and ask for help. That's the best way to speed up your own work.

Thank you! I feel like I am lacking in general chemistry knowledge such as some important industrial reactions. Do you know what books are useful for me to gain some general knowledge?
