Volumetric concentration percentage question
« on: August 26, 2017, 07:44:54 PM »
I need help with v/v %.

Let's say I take 2 L of solute and mix it with water to make a total of 1000 L solution. The v/v % will be 0.2, right? Now, if I take 1 L out of this 1000 L solution and dilute it 6 times. What would the new v/v % of the solute be in the new solution?

Thank you.

Why can't you follow the same logic you used to calculate 0.2 % in the first step?
