Hello Everyone,

Ph.D., working as the manager of technical services for a large oilfield company.  Approximately 12 years experience and counting . enjoying it alot.  Lots of travelling, good people to work with, and some fun industrial plants and off-shore platforms to troubleshoot...

Hi people,

I'm currently working on the extraction of pesticides from both fatty and non fatty matrices.

and am having trouble !
oh well if it was easy it would be boring, wouldn't it?

technologist:
Hi,
I am a Chemical & Chemistry Lover since my high school.
My first love was not a teen at the age of 14; rather it was inorganic chemistry reactions.
When I started my High school my teacher asked me to teach my own class. That caused my blood completed infected by CHEMISTRY.

So I did my Chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur India in 1994. Here I got another virus of chemical engineering in the form of TECHNOLOGY oriented improvements.

Then I Joined Ammonia & Urea Fertilizer plant in India in 1994 in the technical services Deptt., & worked there for 8 years. Then joined corporate technical cell of the same group where the key responsibility areas were Energy Audit, Technological improvements, Technical Services, Business Proposals, Business risk analysis, Technical Audits, Value addition to wastes etc. After 2 years, I shifted to corporate R&D cell in the same group for independently handling technology transfer. Recently I took a change to join the world’s first renewable source based petrochemical plant.

My industry experience is as below

-   Ammonia
-   Urea
-   Inorganic Fluoro-Chemicals
-   Organic Chloro & Fluoro Chemicals
-   Pharma Intermediates
-   Ethanol
-   Ethylene Oxide
-   MEG
-   Glycol Ethers
-   Glycol Ether Acetates
-   Fiber & Textile
-   Cement
-   Metals
-   Other Heavy & Fine chemicals
-   Hydrogen Peroxide

Technology Experience (Other than conventional methods)

-   NaF, KF, K2SiF6, Na2SiF6, K2TiF6, KHF2, NH4F, NH5F2, AlF3, HF
-   K2CO3, V2O5,
-   Chlorobenzenes, Dichlorobenzene, Chlorofluoro Anilines, Chlorofluoro nitrobenzene, Chlorophenols, dichlorofluorobenzene, Acetophenones (derivatives).
-   HF, AlF3

All of them can be developed through different routes for cost competitiveness of up to ~20% than conventional commercial routes.

My Interests

I am currently running 2 Blogs.

http://profmaster.blogspot.com for chemical professionals on technology related issues. Anyone who is interested in discussing any issues on any technology can join & discuss.

http://innocenti.blogspot.com for general management issues & other hobbies, which will appear in due course of time.
