Moles used in experiment
« on: September 12, 2017, 03:41:12 AM »
Hello,

I have a question to the exercise below:

Although I understood th question, I do not know why 0,0005 moles of iodine are involved in the reaction only because the is 0,0005 mole of thiosulfate...

I got 0,01mole of thiosulfate
since there are 2, I divided that by 2, giving 0,005 mole of it. But the solution states that there are also 0,0005 moles of iodine involved, too, but I dont know why...
