Levenspiel vs Westerterp
« on: May 03, 2018, 04:41:01 PM »
Hi all,

I'm chemical engineering student and i'm looking for improving myself with a good book, my reactors teacher told me to use "Chemical Reactor Design and Operation" of K.R. Westerterp (harder to get) or the all-known "Chemical Reaction Engineering" of Octave Levenspiel,he explained to me that the first one is a (for long) more advanced book which i will have to take with patience.

My question here is:

is that true? I mean, there is a real difference between that two books in terms of level that make it worth to search for? I will be really greatful if anyone can told me another examples of the same type, to have more options.

Thanks you.
