Finding identity of gas, given rate
«

Question : Gas B diffuses through a porous membrane 1.86 times faster than Xenon. What is gas B?
Using rateA/rateB = root(Mr B/Mr A), I calculated Mr of B to be 37.
Is my approach right, or am I supposed to do this in another method?

Approach looks right, but you haven't answered the question.

And 37 isn't accurate.
