What are the methods/equipments of finding out uv transmittance of a polymeric sheet besides using a spectrophotometer?

Since this is basically exactly what the spectrophotometer does, I'm not sure what else you would expect to use. Anything that measures light transmission through a material is, almost by definition, a spectrophotometer. (The word itself basically means measuring of photons as a function of energy.) Maybe there is another indirect method, but spectrophotometry is nevertheless the most suitable tool for the purpose.
