Hi guys,

Recently just sent 2 samples of activated carbon, 1 sample of magnetized activated carbon, and pure magnetite for SEM imaging.

The Activated Carbon was synthesized with ZnCl2 as the activating agent, and magnetite was precipitated onto the activated carbon to magnetize it.

Here are the images:

Sorry, but this is my first time looking at SEM images, hence im not very sure what these mean, and whether they deviate from the norm.
For example, may i know what are the white particles which seem to be floating around in the images for the Activated Carbon?
Also, is there any sound analysis which can be derived from the surface morphology of the magnetized activated carbon?

Thanks for your attention!! :)
