Affect of extremes of pH on DNA.
« on: July 07, 2006, 11:12:31 AM »
Hi does anyone know much about the effect of pH on DNA? I know a high pH can cause separation of the two strands but is there any way it can cause fragmentation of the molecule/scission of the ribo-phosp back-bone?
