Corrosive Acid Safety Cabinets
« on: October 10, 2018, 03:34:20 PM »
So I have 6 liters of sulfuric acid in a locked metal cabinet that is obviously not the best.  Looking for something that is OSHA approved and it seems there are metal and HDPE cabinets that would fit the bill for Class 8 liquids.  Not looking to spend a fortune, but need something that will store around 4 gallons and I'll be happy.  Any awesome suggestions???

It might be a cheaper and better solution to consider the use of better storage containers, rather than an expansive cabinet. May be use bags to place the storage containers into before storing in the cabinet.

Ultimately, there is nothing special about the cabinet itself. It is a storage space that is inside of a larger storage space, a room, and outside of a smaller storage space, the container. There is nothing special about drawingthe line of acid safe vs acid reactive at that storage boundary.
