Organic Chemistry 2 Unknown Compound Determination
« on: February 05, 2019, 07:37:42 PM »
Hello everyone! I have to identify the structure of an unknown compound and I am having a lot of trouble figuring out what it is. I have attached photos of the h1NMR, 13CNMR, GEMS, and IR spectrum's. The IR is questionable, as I had to run it multiple times. The unknown was a solid, light brown powder if that is helpful. Any help and explanation would be greatly appreciated!!!

Please read the forum rules: you have to show an attempt at answering the question before receiving help. What clues can you pick up from the spectra you show?
