There are several English terms/words that are driving me nuts whenever I see them. Who can define for me "ion speciation"?

sounds like a mispelling of ion spectator...? :P

i looked it up and apparently 'speciation' is connected to 'species', but thats a biological term.

then again, it seems highly limited in its usage, since nearly all searches turned out with results with the phrase of 'metal-ion speciation' rather than just ion speciation.

cant find a proper definition either.

well it seems a very obscure term, maybe someone can add it to the chemical dictionary after finding it out! :D
