Diluting solution
(1/1)
User77:
Hello all.
I am new to Chemistry and am having issues with this:
How would you prepare a 500ml 20 millimolars of phosphate buffer solution from a starting solution consisting of 1 molar ph 6,9 containting 6 millimolars of NaCl?
The solution is going to be used for spectrophotometry.

Calculate how much mole is 500 ml of 20 millimolar. You have 1000 milimolar available. How much do you need then?
One question the NaCl is it in your stocksolution or should your diluted solution contain 6 millimolar NaCl?
