Photon emission

(1/1)

FatimaB:
A hydrogen atom in the ground state absorbs a photon with wavelength =97.28nm then emits a photon with wavelength = 1899nm. In which energy level will the electron be after this emission?

Borek:
You have to show your attempts at solving the problem to receive help, this is a forum policy.

Enthalpy:
Maybe some formula is known for the energy levels in a hydrogen atom?
