How do i approch/solve theese kinds of questions with two unkown masses, looking for a general solution and im really stuck right now. Thanks in advance
"A sample of propane and ethane combusts fully with oxygen to make 12.5g CO2 and 7.20g H2O. What mass of ethane and propane respectively was there in the original sample"
Borek:
Assume x grams of propane and y grams of ethane, express masses of products in terms of x, y - two equations, two unknowns, solve.
