Hi
Really need help with part d both parts as the mark
Scheme doesn’t make any sense.

Data given is standard electrode potential

“The concentration of iron(II) ions in aqueous solution can be determined by titrating the solution, after acidification, with a standard solution of potassium manganate(VII).


Explain, by reference to the data given in the table opposite, why hydrochloric acid should not be used to acidify the solution containing iron(II) ..

Check the redox potentials. What can do permanganate with chloride and nitrate with iron-II?.
